Perhaps my first real taste of the incredible light that Senja Island is capable of delivering came on our first morning wandering around our immediate area shortly after sunrise. The tide had receded a little but the snowline was right to the edge of the beach and I wanted to maintain its presence and show some of the colour on offer in this winter wonder land. Not a single foot print marred the perfection of the snow.
