Dune Brush

Balnakeil, Sutherland, Scotland

The dunes around Balnakeil sands are immense and seem to stride out forever. I climbed one beautiful dune at twilight that hissed in the wind and thrashed about madly and then chose a mixture of aperture, shutter speed and ISO to dictate the amount of movement rendered. The light was as soft and meloncholy as the dune grass brushing my legs.
