Again I have chosen to upload this picture in a large size please view the Original size because the fine detail in the smaller version tends to get a little lost.
I took my kids sledging on the Cairngorm hills and while they were away amusing themselves on the deeper snow further up, I strolled down the road and waited for sunset noticing that the reflected pink sky was catching the meandering mountain stream. Fine tuning my position allowed me to get the maximum reflected colour from it. So I isolated some promising shapes and used the river as a lead line and a thread of colour in an otherwise monochrome landscape.
