The armoured plate along the spine of a Stegosaurus, a sharks fin, whatever you want to call it these geological formations make a wonderful ampitheatre for the rising sun to play with. this was one of the very finest sunrises I can recall on the Quiraing and I have seen quite a few. A 40 minute walk brings you out opposite this feature and I arrived in time to watch the sky turn a sumptuous plum, followed by a pink sunrise.
NEW!! Photographic workshops and masterclasses and the 2014 Transient Light Calendars are now available at TRANSIENT LIGHT
