Cummingston Cliffs

Cummingston, Moray, Scotland

Which ever way you looked at it this was a pretty bleak and miserable day in Cummingston and on the whole not the sort of day that would normally inspire great landscape photography but I was never-the-less pleased to come away with two shots that I felt had a great deal of merit and this was one of them. Cummingston is known for its incredibly colourful sandstone rocks and this suited the grey and twilight presented at the end of a rainy day with the rocks juxtaposed against the sombre blue light and rough unforgiving sea.
