A fine breezy summer day at Duffus castle saw large white cumulus clouds scudding towards us over a sunlit castle wall mimicing the shape of the grass hill on which it stands. I realised I could use a long exposure to make the sky appear to explode from behind the castle wall. The exposure of around 45 seconds with the sky kept large in the frame really helped to realise my imagined result. This single exposure is the only one I got before the cloud came in so heavy that the shape of the clouds disappeared completely.
