I rarely upload images of this size but due to the images complexity and panoramic nature I think it was essential to do so.
This charming little lochan has a rather uncharming name. I guess it seems a little unsure of itself, perhaps unable to make up it's own mind whether there is any photographic merit to it or not. I have assured it, that it is really very beautiful and I wandered down Glen Etive on a fine autumn afternoon to prove it. There I managed to photograph the lush rhodedendron islands and surrounding foliage in a pool of liquid gold from the reflected light of the bracken clad hills.
NEW!! Photographic workshops and masterclasses and fine art cards are now available at TRANSIENT LIGHT
