Round Peg Square Hole

Elgol, Skye, Scotland

This will be a familiar scene to a great many photographers I happen to love the relationship between the square layered and sea eroded rocks with the incongruity of this one spherical boulder sitting like a round peg in a square hole. Does it matter that it has been photographed before, not to me as far as I am concerned only a fool would ignore something that is aesthetically beautiful, as it was on this occasion, for the perceived need to be "original". I have always shot for myself first and foremost and if others happen to like it then that is simply a bonus.

NEW!! Photographic workshops and masterclasses and fine art cards are now available at TRANSIENT LIGHT

Looks good to me and the eye is pulled by some invisible line to the mountain
