I'm the first to admit that middle day lighting is rarely the best for photography, but there are some exceptions and this is most assuredly one. Mediterranean clear blue skies in Scotland are very rare and usually considered a curse for photography but the graphic nature of the lines lent itself to very bold colours and the grass really was electric green and the sky electric blue. I hope you find this as satisfying and uplifting as I do. It certainly lifted my spirits.
