Beach Combing

Cummingstown, Moray, Scotland

Moray has some of the best rocky coves in Britain and this particular one at Cummingstown on the Moray coast is quite sensational. The sandstone is the colour of mustard and the rocks range in colour from violet through blue to purple and snow white. These same rocks get covered in sea weed which looks almost as though it has been combed across by a skilled hair dresser. This is one of my favourite examples.
