With barely seconds to go before the sun disappears below the horizon a red sun flickers pink light out across the very tips of the lavender bushes causing them to blush while those below remain cooler and bluer. Already the sky flushes and my shadow is completely indistinct at almost a quarter of a mile long. I've never felt so tall.
