If I had a favourite wee spot on Rannoch moor this would be it. I was offering the benefit of my wisdom to another photographer when this most delicate sunrise occurred.
This one tree seems to have evaded the onward march of Autumn remaining steadfastly green even though the first snows of the year have dusted the distant Blackmount. The cool blues of twilight eventually gave way to dawns pink light first staining the clouds and then painting the mountain tops. I waited for an even cloud distribution then took the shot.
