SF #3751 - Back on the High Iron

As the sun set slowly in the west, Santa Fe #3751 backed onto the Pasadena Subdivision at Fontana for its first short test run west to Upland and return. Here's her long awaited first runby on mainline trackage on December 19, 1991.

I lived in bealville as kid and got to see these locomotive there. The train would stop at time and we got to clime to the cab. good old days Was also there for the 1952 earthquake that callaps a tunnel ans bent the rail tracks like butter.
