Lunar Eclipse

The full moon exposure on the left was 1/800s, whereas the full reddish moon on the right is a long exposure of about 1 s to bring out what was in the shadow during the full eclipse--it's actually about 9 stops darker than a full moon!

Fantastic pictures!! Toronto was too overcast for viewing but these
are just the perfect substitutes for the real thing and the animation
is geared to cater to all who would never have the patience to sit up
all night to observe the whole process. Dad
