I've been thinking about how I could represent some of the symptoms I have, which led to the tests I had in hospital today (well, yesterday...).
One of my more common 'complaints' is a left-sided migraine: and I often know these are about to happen because my vision
on the left starts to cloud over and fade, preceded by nice, gentle wavy patterns. But how to photograph this?
Well, this is a six-inch sphere of rock from Portsoy Marble in the north-east of Scotland,
which I bought three or four years ago: and that I reckon does the job pretty well....

I took a day off from my PaD, yesterday (for obvious reasons):
so these were taken a day late!

Thanks to everyone who sent me their good wishes!
I'm a little wobbly as a result of the procedures I underwent; but otherwise fine...
-- although I won't know the full results until the New Year.
