Persephone's downfall?
5 November 2005 (50)

Fovant, Salisbury, UK

Although there seem to be more versions of the myth than the actual number of seeds Persephone is supposed to have eaten
-- six: condemning us all to six months of cold (i.e. autumn and winter), whilst she languishes in the Underworld... --
I still find the pomegranate (supplied, again, as a PaD prop, by my apprentice 'food stylist' SO...!)
a fascinating (although completely inedible) fruit...!

Thanks must go to the wonderful Linda Buckell for help in improving my macros... -- I'm getting there, Linda!

We have very posh frogs down here! (And you can order your spawn in any colour you like...!)

Very nicely done indeed, Stephen

Well Stephen I am humbled and honoured by your comment - thank you very much :-)
This is truly brilliant - I looked at the others before looking at this and commented that I wondered how close to those seeds you could get. You have got pretty close indeed, great colour and dof AND at a difficult angle of the seeds - ISO 200 is good too. Great subject to take macro's of. Your 'fiddling' is now paying off - I do believe you have cracked the macro code lol. Really looking forward to some more.

This one looks quite good. You did a great job in bringing out the colour in it. DOF is nice as well.
