The sculpture on the right is The Walking Madonna, by Elisabeth Frink.
The madonna stands outside Salisbury Cathedral, always watching, always seeming to be about to leave...
-- and came from Frink's workshop sometime in the 1980s.
The sculpture represents an older Mary
"walking with purposeful compassion as a member
of the community of the Risen Christ"....
