It's odd, I know: but I was presented with this specifically for inclusion in my Photo-a-Day gallery....
(I've got to admit: I really love the way the surface texture almost appears to be made of large, raised pixels of colour....)

So it's not my fault that it's another food macro...!?

Squash are the coolest veggies. They have the guts to be bright and colorful and different and for that, they should be applauded.
