'Homage' -- from the Westonbirt International Festival of Gardens, 2003 -- was designed by landscape architects Les Baker and Scott Farlow, of Reckless Orchard.

This "is a walled orchard garden that highlights the loss of old traditional orchards and hopes to inspire interest in both the conservation and planting of orchards.
Three dead apple trees symbolise the decline of orchards over the last 50 years and also the gradual loss of a great many old apple varieties.
The dead trees are hung with 600 labels listing evocatively named apples."
