From the National Trust guidebook:
"On the Priest's House, there is a statue of St George and the Dragon,
commissioned by Charles Wade from a Tyrolean craftsman, A. Dapre.
It is a copy in teak of a statue in the Victoria and Albert Museum,
faithful in every detail except its size -- the original
is only 0.56 metres high."
