Sinterklaas and his black Pete's come every year around this time from spain
with presents for all kids.
In Holland this day has it's special music,and kids have to put their shoes near the fireplace,so Pete can climb down the chimney at night to put presents in their shoes.
Here on Curacao,they made it into another party with jungle music and not the real athmosphere.
But then,...after 150 years they still have to show that they are not finished with their slave history and turn everything dutch into something from africa ;-)
