Hello Hodero - thank you for your comments and encouragement - the effects I get are by using Flaming Pear filters plus Photoshop filters. I often save one set of effects and then re-open the photo and apply different filters. I just play and play with the sliders and controls until I really like the "end" effect(s) ! Then I stop ! Female of many surprise comment? Hodero, I just like unusual, unique, pretty, special, meaningful and funny things. Lots of people feel the same, they like the stuff that grabs you, holds you. Maybe a form of escapism for awhile, like taking a little journey. Jokingly I tell people , "when you are bored, take some time and go through not just my collections but everyones, you may be surprised". If they don't it's okay. People get around to looking at all galleries at one time or another. It's just to overwhelming in here, so much talent, to much actually to have expectations. Just keep it fun!

Beautiful Ophelia..... It's one of my favorites. Found it years ago. It catches your eye and holds you to it. It's enchanting, she's beautiful. I think the color, the fluidity, the shimmering starburst. I would say even pleasingly provocative. I feel if one owned this picture, they'd be very possessive about it, yes you may look but definitely do not touch it!!!! You can't help but to be drawn to it.

I have a story about a doll I wanted and never got, I'll be sharing that story with her.Hodero, remember when I told you about how expressive Richard is (ballet photographer) This doll maker has a special gift, i've looked at many many dolls, she like Richard sees beyond the surface because of a love she has for babies, she creates every angle, every pose, every facial expression has been captured, her dolls so beautiful people react emotionally, it's like she captured the essence of a real child, thats why her dolls are the best. Her name is WhitneySue~~~ That pretty ballerina~~~~~ A story behind her Hodero, Talk about a life challenge, Her name Whitney Sue, an aspireing Prima Ballerina who was involved in an auto accident experiencing the same type injury that actor Christopher Reeves experienced (Broken Neck). She was in a car accident 3 days after (Photographer) Richard Calmes took this shothttp://www.pbase.com/rcalmes/image/53659817 She broke 2 vertabrae-same as Christopher Reeves. She had to wear a halo device for 5 months. It was screwed into her skull. She could not shower or wash her hair for fear of infection. After the halo came off, she wore a collar for 3 weeks. She got the collar off on Monday. Her extreme strength and conditioning are the reason she was not paralized the doctors say. She wanted to take part in the shoot with the girls she has been so close to so Lisa (co-ordinater) put her in the pose you commented on. Richard calls the pose the "I'm back" look. (I call that pose stunning and it was created for her) She is very well known throughout the USA and Europe as one of the most promising young dancers. She was going to Juliard this fall. Now she has decided (wisely) to take the next year to get back in shape. She will attend Georgia State and go to class every day. You can see how beautiful she is. And she is a beautiful person! You have a good eye Hodero.

For me Hodero, it means we make our own heaven or hell. If you notice it says the eye sees, the eye comprehends? Then it's us that makes the final choice. Life is to excellerated. Almost like spinning around one of those tea-cup rides at Disneyland. I think one of the most beautiful things is seeing through the eyes of a child. They're excited, determined, filled with wonder and feel so happy when they accomplish each step of learning. Those people who know it all are always in a hurry, never satisfied. They appear to be in a race with time. Why I wonder... Take time to stop and smell the roses... I think what i've found is that I value my alone time most of all. You've heard of being in a crowd yet you feel alone? Whether in a crowd or alone, I control my emotions by choices I make. I was also born with a very positive demeanor. Hello Hodero, I found that gif in one of the search engines. Like Google, I seem to recall I wrote searching for animated dancing (could also have been one I've had a long time or found in a community I was a member of). I think some of these computer programs show how you can create animated pictures, gifs etc.!, it gets deeply technical. Like anything it would take practice and I think worth the time for the fun it is in learning. Many learning communities in the internet teach you how to do these skills, I think some having to do with templates and such.

Hodero, I just visited your gallery and I liked every thing I saw. One thing I want to ask is your relationship with Colombia, are you from there or know people from there. Many of your pictures combine Latin American people I guess all Colombians and Anglo people. I am from Colombia and that is why I pay a lot of attention to your pictures. Like I said I liked many of your pics. If you are Colombian perhaps you would like to visit my galleries which does not match the quality and ability of many I have seen in PBase. I live in the state of NJ in USA. I left my country 27 years ago. And through my pictures I am trying to show the world that Colombia is not what TV shows them. Regards.
