Jardin Majorelle & Museum, Marrakesh
Designed by the French painter Jacques Majorelle, who lived here from 1922 to 1962. Now owned by the French couturier Yves Saint-Laurent.
In among the cacti, baknoo and cascades of bougainvillaea is a deep-blue villa, now housing the museum.
