This stately tree is the first & last tree in the Sasaki Garden to show its foliage in the spring & fall. I find it especially beautiful in the late fall. Click 'original' size view option for details.

This tree and the entire garden is currently planned to be destroyed by the NYU/NYC 2031 Expansion Plan to build two massive skyscrapers in this location.
