This model is often called the Slavko Avsenik model as he used it for many years in his dinner show and made it somewhat famous among those that really appreciate alpine music. An example of the sound this instrument makes can be heard at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnU9BdAfKWs&playnext_from=TL&videos=cRWJBITyF4s Of course it is used for many other types of music including classical in which it shines. It is unusual in it's tuning for a "musette" accordion in that the fundamental tuning is A440 or "concert tuning" which allows it to be played with horns and other concert type instruments not easily tuned. This particular accordion came out of Toronto Canada area and was used by an entertainer that worked in Europe and North America. It was beautifully maintained. I have had the microphones that it came to me with removed and new grill cloth installed. The bass is tuned around a low E for a very low bass compared with the normal low A or low F.
