The world I see from tram 23

Tram 23 transsects the agglomeration of Rotterdam from the northwest to the southeast over a distance of 25 kilometers. This series of images covers the first half from the suburban Vlaardingen Holy in the nothwest to downtown Rotterdam. It crosses areas where I spent my childhood, went to secondary school, where family and relatives live or have lived. These pictures were all shot from the tram during its 30 minute ride on a sunny Sunday morning.

@ Ernst (asking how I planned or selected the shots): being an amateur I just fired away ;-) But seriously: I know the route very well, so I could predict buildings I wanted to frame. Had to be fast of course when I wanted to include people. I intend to do a more planned report style for second half of the series for the downtown-to-southeast part of the line.

@ Jean Claude: haha no, no room for that, would like to try it though to see how people react. But there was no need actually on this day: lots of light outside and besides the ride on the modern tram 23 is very smooth (and sloooooooooow)....

Do you use a tripod in your tram ?....! Good idea.
