Apart from hundreds of stands, Photokina offers lecures, exhibitions and workshops. Most workshops are of course actually product demonstrations for cameras, lenses or lighting systems. But for someone mostly doing landscape and sports photography, they offer a nice opportunity to try some model photography. There is a handicap: the photographer doing the demonstration is always in the best spot. Although the photography is mine, the set up, lighting etc is not of course.
