I made this edit on on earlier version of this picture (at http://www.pbase.com/hiero/image/68132826) after that one was shortlisted for the 65th Pbase show and tell competition but critiqued for its convergent lines. It was shot from the Venice Campanile on Piazza San Marco. It was still early in the morning (I wanted a clear view from the tower) and the restaurants and cafes had just put their tables on the square. Everyone was working or busy sightseeing except this man.
