This gallery is a collection of photos taken during my military career as a combat correspondent. Some are assignment-related, others are personal shots of friends whom I served with along the way. Although I do not endorse the current wars, I do embrace all those who serve in uniform ... of all nations. But certainly there is too much war-making these days; it does not mean we should forget the young people who are tricked into the killing business though. Please be kind to veterans on their special day. They have given a lot of themselves for us all.
