I met this gentleman next to a filling station in Northern Egypt.
He was herding his flock of goats.
His face was an open book on life in Egypt outside Cairo:
hard work, making long days, staying alive to feed a family.
And although I wasn't able to communicate with words
I know for sure that this is a friendly and wise person.

A brief but unforgettable encounter.
