Co-op diner

Fairbanks

The redecorated Co-op diner and malt shop in the Co-op Plaza on 2nd Avenue,
between Cushman and Lacey St., is -originally- one of the oldest eating places in Fairbanks.
The concrete building which houses the Co-op Plaza was built in 1927 as the Empress Theatre.
It later became Co-op Drug and then Co-op Plaza.
