A spot of dirt

A female Northern Cardinal has dirt on the top of her beak as she perches on a limb in Blendon Woods Metro Park
near Columbus, Ohio. The Cardinal had repeated rubbed its beak on the limb but was having trouble clearing

Very nice pose and details. I never realised the females had some blue feathers. Well done.
