An arch covers an entrance to Wittenberg University in Wittenberg, Germany.
The panel at the top of the arch says “Hodie michi, cras tibi,” a statement
about the short nature of human existence. It translates to “here today, gone
tomorrow” or “today, it’s me; tomorrow, it’s you.”
Additional photos from Germany are in my Cities gallery.
