Signal monument

Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer, France

A signal monument stands beside Omaha Beach at Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer, Normandy, France.
This signal monument is one of 10 deigned by Yves-Marie Froidevaux that stand along
the D-Day landing beaches. The text on the monument, in both English and French, says:
"The Allied Forces landing on this shore which they call Omaha Beach liberate Europe June 6th 1944."
