The statue of Atlas that stands in front of the International Building in Rockefeller Center
(50th Street and Fifth Avenue) faces St. Patrick's Cathedral across Fifth Avenue. The statue
is 15 feet tall (not including the base) and weighs seven tons. The sphere has a diameter
of 21 feet. A second image of Atlas, taken last summer, is below.
