This is a gallery of photos from my recent vacation to the northern third -- the Turkish part -- of the island, which is simply a wonderful place to visit. Since there are so many pictures (sorry, there was just so much to photograph!), I've put a representative sampling of all parts of the island on the first page, with more photos of each area on the following pages. This is a splendid view of the rugged beauty of the island. Were you lucky or is the air so clear all the time. It looks like a marvelous vacation spot.

I saw some of these places in december ... is really nice there ... the cypriots did nice things in all cyprus. bravo ... i love this country !!! bravo hellen !!!!

Helen fantastic photography but its a shame you did'nt take pictures inside the other 300+ non touristic historical churches to show the world what shockng state they are in, and thats if they are still standing. Anyway keep the good work 10/10
