I decided to enter images from the places we've lived in recent years: Japan, Turkey and the United States. This is the view of Ankara from our apartment. Turkey's capital city is situated on a pretty high plateau, and we got some very severe (at least to me, a native San Franciscan) winters some years. I heard that they had heavy snow a few weeks ago.
