Tim saw these two National Guardsmen, both carrying sidearms, in Lincoln Park, less than a block from our house. There’s very little crime in our park, which is a favorite gathering place for the neighborhood, and there are usually lots of dogs running around as well as people just enjoying being outdoors. He said these two Guardsmen were kicking a soccer ball around with the kid in the picture, so I’m not really sure what their purpose for being there was.
