Sad to see

I was actually wondering, with the enormous number of trees they have at the Arboretum, how many suffer this fate, and then we came upon this one. We couldn’t get around it, plus the road was closed at the other end, anyway.

It takes years to grow a tree to this size. Judging by how many brown leaves there are, as of June 1, still spring, this tree had not been alive for quite some time,. They should have paid attention to it to avoid this from happening. ~VV~
