The only blossom on a peony that was transplanted a few years ago from its volunteer spot in our flowerbed. Its companion peony, also transplanted, produced multiple flowers this year (below/previous picture), but sadly this plant didn’t. Hopefully next year it will be more accustomed to its new life in a large planter in the carport.
