View of Himeji from the castle

This must be a popular place for taking pictures since I saw the exact same thing online.

*****

Dating to 1333, Himeji Castle, located in Hyogo Prefecture’s city of Himeji, is regarded as the finest surviving example of prototypical Japanese castle architecture, comprising a network of 83 rooms with advanced defensive systems from the feudal period. The sister castles of Himeji Castle are Château de Chantilly in France and Conwy Castle in Wales.
