DC statehood mural

Seen at the ”NoMa in Color” mural display in Eckington.

I must admit I don’t know what the Metro train has to do with DC statehood, but I like all the flowers, not that they have anything to do with it, either.

All I can think of is that it signifies that "the train has left the station" on Statehood for DC. I doubt that there are any Republicans that would support it at this point.

It's bright and cheerful except for the clenched fist but I guess that's for the DC Statehood part.
