Patio guard

One of two of these creatures seen at a house in our neighborhood that was undergoing renovation at the time. No idea what the lock and chain are for.

Cool gargoyle, and I like the brick wall.

It reminds me of the padlocks I have seen on pit bulls (I think to make them look more scary). It is not a welcoming sight. V

Love the contrast between the lovely planter in the alcove and the grim gargoyle.

I really like this scary looking creature with the heavy chains and locks.

I wonder if that's his permanent residence. I like the cut out in the brick too. V

Looks like a big reno job happening. I like the brick wall with the cut out and plants. The creature is a strange addition.

Definitely eye catching and a possibly a warning to possible house-to-house salesmen.

Those things always give me the willies. Scary!

lots of character in the setting here, and the gargoyle is not so out of place...lock and chain could represent the security offered by such a guard..
