We went back to the Arboretum again on Friday because I just wasn’t happy with most of my pictures from Thursday, although this was taken that day. We hadn’t walked extensively around the azalea collection and we both remarked afterwards that it seemed like a lot of the bushes had already bloomed or were in the process of getting there and not as spectacular as in past years. Plus we hadn’t gone high enough on the hillside to see my favorite of all, a yellow azalea, which we did on Friday. There were more people visiting than the previous day, but it was still delightful to feel like we almost had the place to ourselves.
