White dogwood

This is the most common kind of dogwood in our neighborhood. It was a bit early to photograph some of them on Sunday, but by Wednesday, the blossoms had mostly been replaced by leaves.

it looks likea snowstorm of sorts...most dogwoods on the west coast are a white variety as well..
