Cherry Blossom Festival Gypsy

Gypsy was decked out for the Petal Porches event, when people are urged to decorate their houses as part of the month-long Cherry Blossom Festival celebrated all around the city.

Thanks to Liz for reminding me that Instagram has pictures of Gypsy dressed up for the festival in prior years, although I do think this particular getup is a bit odd.

That is a weird getup for the Cherry Blossom Festival. I see that these decorations are some sort of contest, but I doubt Gypsy's owners will win it this year. They did I much nicer job in decorating with Gypsy for the Cherry Blossom Festival in past years. The year with the Japanese fans was particularly pretty. This year, they seem to be doing more of a strawberry theme. Is there a strawberry festival, too??? I'm not sure what is on Gypsy's head. Seeing Gypsy through your lens has been fun. You should try shooting her at night when the little lights, wrapped around her, are on.
