Crocuses enjoying the ‘summer’ weather

I thought our crocuses were finished due to the freezing weather we had recently, but they came out in force today in the unheard of winter temperatures in DC – forecast to get up to 80 F (27 C) later in the afternoon, then back down to more normal levels over the next week.
