Mosque of Isa Khan

This mosque, part of the Isa Khan garden-tomb complex (below and next pictures), was built in 1547-48. Tim told me there were giant birds flying all over the city — in fact several flew right past his hotel window when he was pointing out some in the distance — and a few of them can be seen in this picture.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly unsharp.

So much of interest here - the visitors all appear to be Indian - the rock wall is such a cool design - as well as the mosque itself - great shot BV
