Jim Bachor of Chicago travels the country filling potholes for a living and turns them into art and sometimes social commentary. He was recently in DC, where he transformed three potholes for the #RelistWolves Campaign, a privately funded group that is working to get Northern Rocky Mountain wolves reclassified as an endangered species in an effort to get them the same protection as other gray wolves.
We only saw two of his mosaic potholes, which were very similar, and I imagine the third one (which was too far to drive to the day I took this) is along the same lines.
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly unsharp.
