‘Save the Elephant[s]’

It took two trips to Adams Morgan in Northwest DC to locate this mural, but we finally did. It was painted in 2018 by Gerard Perfung on another building, but the owner painted over it the next day. The Amsterdam Felafel Shop graciously allowed the artist to repaint it on their back wall.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly unsharp.

Interesting the painter obviously didn't get permission to paint the first one (or maybe he did and the owner just didn't like it...)
